Welcome to my page. I am Mian Wei (he/his), a finance Ph.D. candidate at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. Before I joined Telfer, I received my Master of Finance degree from Tulane University, and my Bachelor degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University. My research interests include corporate governance, executive compensation, payout policies, SPACs and IPOs, and investor behavior. Meanwhile, I have been teaching multiple finance courses since 2022. I am interested in teaching corporate finance, investment, international fiannce, and data analytics courses.

I spend my spare time exploring in the fields of cooking amd hiking.
